Extremely cold this morning on my run with Merlin (the dog) just enjoy getting out in the snow running. One tip I have is putting my feet in plastic bags & then my shoes on. These really does help to keep the wet out. Nothing worse than freezing cold feet. Running in the snow is to be done carefully, I never follow a plan & training schedules are put to one side. I just run as I feel, if there is a need to walk or change the route due to icy conditions I don't worry. Much better to avoid a slip or fall, which would result in missed training when the weather is better. Sometimes these conditions are a good time to give the body a rest! Stay safe in the snow & ice.
